Giovedì sera siamo andati al Jubail Fest: la versione locale delle sagre maremmane. Anche qui grande affluenza, famiglie allegre ed occasioni per belle foto. Questa sera ho scelto quest'accostamento donna-automobile. Il verde è il colore nazionale Saudita mentre 'La Bicicletta Verde' è un bellissimo film che racconta bene alcuni aspetti della condizione femminile in Arabia.

Thursday evening we were at Jubail Fest: local version of our homeland fairs. Lot of people here as well, happy families and plenty of opportunities to bring home nice pictures. Tonight I choose this woman-car combination. Green is KSA national colour and 'The Green Bicycle' is a wonderful film that very well describes some aspects of women's life in Saudi.

Ancora troppo freddo per il bagno... rimandiamo di qualche settimana. 
La scorsa settimana abbiamo avuto una bella sorpresa provando a scattare con il filtro nativo Fuji Classic Chrome, poi riprodotto da RAW in Lightroom. Mi è piaciuto così tanto da utilizzarlo per queste foto all'aperto: meno spinto del Velvia e con resa migliore rispetto al mio affezionato Kodak Portra. Clicca per dettagli dal Sito Fuji

Still too cold for a swim...let's postpone untill a few weeks.
Last week we had a nice surprise trying to shoot using the native Fuji Classic Chrome Film Simulation, reproduced from RAW in Lightroom. I liked so much that I decided to use it for this picture taken outdoors: it's less extreme than Velvia and gives better results than my beloved Kodak Portra.  Click for details from Fuji Site
