Ancora troppo freddo per il bagno... rimandiamo di qualche settimana. 
La scorsa settimana abbiamo avuto una bella sorpresa provando a scattare con il filtro nativo Fuji Classic Chrome, poi riprodotto da RAW in Lightroom. Mi è piaciuto così tanto da utilizzarlo per queste foto all'aperto: meno spinto del Velvia e con resa migliore rispetto al mio affezionato Kodak Portra. Clicca per dettagli dal Sito Fuji

Still too cold for a swim...let's postpone untill a few weeks.
Last week we had a nice surprise trying to shoot using the native Fuji Classic Chrome Film Simulation, reproduced from RAW in Lightroom. I liked so much that I decided to use it for this picture taken outdoors: it's less extreme than Velvia and gives better results than my beloved Kodak Portra.  Click for details from Fuji Site

Questi due amici vengono da Khobar, li hanno portati da un altro compound ed ora sono qui a Jubail. A pochi metri da noi presidiano la casa di amici. Gli expat sono affezionati ai propri ricordi: è anche grazie a questi che il compound diventa accogliente. Diventa casa.

These two friends come from Khobar, they've been carried over from another compound and now they are here in Jubail. They safeguard the house of friends, a few meters from us. Expats are attached to their own souvenir: it's also thanks to them that the compound becomes cozy. Becomes home.

Ecco Jubail nella zona del lungomare, mattina presto: il week end è qua e le famiglie allegramente passeggiano nei pressi della spiaggia. Infanzia ed adolescenza non sembrano essere molto diverse in KSA rispetto all'Europa. Questo almeno è quanto vedo dal mio 35mm.

This is Jubail corniche in an early morning: the week end is here and families are happy around the beach. Childhood and adolescence don't seem to be much different here in KSA compared to Europe. This at least what I can see through my 35mm.
